As a showpiece for Elon to take to MLA this week, Perry set up this nifty interactive demo to illustrate what we'd like the Archive's display system to be able to do. Rebecca completed a number of collation table scans using our new protocol to fill out the data for this display. While we were testing the demo, however, we realized how we will eventually need to seek uniformly sized and formatted images of MS pages in order to use our loupe tool to its greatest effect.
At our mid-December meeting we developed a protocol for scanning individual collation table sheets from Charles Blyth's paper archive of variation data for each line of the Regiment. This is available to participants in the project as "Collation Table Scanning procedure.doc" in our root directory.
