Reyer, La Statue

opéra en trois actes

vocal score
Original work: Ernest Reyer (1823–1909), La Statue, opera in three acts, libretto by Carré and Barbier, first played at the Théâtre-Lyrique on 11-4-1861 with revivals there in 1862 and 1863. Reyer replaced the dialogue with recitatives for German performances in 1864. In 1878 it was revived at the Opéra-Comique and in 1903, as an opéra-féerie, at the Opéra. It is doubtful whether Bizet was involved in any editions of the vocal score other than the first.
