Copynotes: Half bound in brown goatskin and marbled paper boards. Lacking Z2, Z3 and Z4 (blank); lower margins trimmed, affecting some signatures and catchwords. There are extra blank leaves bound between D4 and E1 and again between S4 and T1. The variants in gathering X are corrected. Stained.
Editionnotes: Ed. Sp. = Edmund Spenser. In verse. Signatures: A-Z⁴. "The teares of the muses", "Prosopopoia", and "Muiopotmos" each have separate title pages, the last dated 1590; register is continuous. The last leaf is blank. Stationer’s Register: Entered 29 December 1590.
