"We hold one volume of Spenser's works, printed in 1617 in London by H.L [owndes] for M. Lowndes.
The title page reads as follows:

The title page also carries an elaborate engraved border.
The book measures 11" x 7.5".
Besides the above mentioned works, the volume Mother Hubbard, Colin Clout, Astrophel, Epithalmion ,and some shorter poems.The book has suffered some water staining, but the printing, pages, and binding are in good condition."
Correspondence of 7/1/10:
1. Gen. t.p.: 1617.
2. FQ Pt. 1: canto IIII, verse 1 begins "Young Knight, what euer that doft arms profesfs..."
3. FQ Pt. 2: The title page reads : "Imprinted at London for Mathew Lownes/Anno Dom. 1613" . The colophon is "16012". under a woodblock design featuring the sun is: "LONDON/Printed by H.L. for Matthew [sic]Lownes"
4. SC: 1617: "Printed by Bar:Alfop for John Harrifon ..."
5. "Colin Clout" no date on title page, as noted. "Prothalamion" = "At London/Printed by. H.L. for Mathew Lownes/1617." "Amoretti," "Fovre Hymnes," "Daphnaida," and "Complaints" carry the same printer's name and date.
6. Letter to Raleigh is not bound in this copy, so far as I can see. The content runs: Faerie Qveene, Shepheards Calender, Prosopopoia, Colin Clouts, Prothalamion, Amoretti, Epithalamion, Fovre Hymns, Daphnaida, Complaints. In the last section, "Teares of the Mvses" and "Mviopotmos" have individual title pages, each carrying the same printing information outlined in point 5 above - "H.L. for Mathew Lownes, 1617."
7. "Prosopopoia": the title page does not carry a date. Under the title is:
