Copynotes: Binding: 17th century sheepskin with blind-tooled triple fillets and gilt-stamped lozenge centrepieces on covers; blind-tooled fillets on board edges; spine with six raised bands and blind fillets. UkCU-QUE Annoitations: 'Finis' added in ink on final page. Annotations: Former shelfmark on title page: 'P.2.21'.
Editionnotes: In verse. Printer's name from STC. A second reissue of the 1609 edition. Part 1 still has the 1611 cancel title page and conjugate dedication of the first reissue (STC 23083.3); B3r stanza 1 begins "Yoūg knight". Q5-6 of part 1, bearing respectively the 1609 title page and first leaf of text of part 2, are canceled. Part 2 has been reprinted, with a title page dated either 1612 or 1613 (stop-press variant). The R3r catchword now reads "And". Pagination and register are continuous. In some copies (such as the one on the microfilm) the 1612/1613 title page has been canceled instead of the 1609 one. Title page framed within decorative woodcut border featuring emblem at foot of a boar next to a marjoram bush with motto: 'Spiro non tibi'. Woodcut initials, head- and tail-pieces. Text mainly printed in double columns. The last leaf is blank. Signatures: A⁶(-A1+pi²) B-P⁶ Q⁴ R-2H⁶. Signature from ESTC.
