In dark brown calf, blind-stamped on upper and lower boards, gilt-stamped design of leaves on spine. Marbled endpapers, all edges stained red. Upper and lower boards are both detached, but the binding of the textblock is tight and the text is unstained/unmarked.

Editionnotes: | Most of the pieces have special title-pages dated 1678.
"Brittain's Ida", first ascribed to Spenser in 1628 by Thomas Walkley is now generally assigned to Phineas Fletcher.
Includes Theodore Bathurst's Latin version of The shepherd's calendar.
