Copynotes: The library has two sets of this title; one is complete in three volumes (Rare Book Collection), and the other only has volume 1 (Forrest Collection). Our full set has a rebound volume one; volumes 2 and 3 are in original full leather. Both copies of v.1 have after title page a dedication to Queen Elizabeth. Numerous plates with illustrations from the story. Our Forrest collection volume (v.1 only) is in original mottled calf with gilt spine.
