Bound in dark-brown leather, blind tooled and stamped.
Condition: Tears, creases and staining mainly to first and last few pages with water damage to some pages. Significant abrasion to front and back covers and losses of leather.

The shepherds calendar has numerous errors in paging. A catalogue of books printed for Jonathan Edwin (1 leaf) inserted after p. 258.
"Brittain's Ida", first ascribed to Spenser in 1628 by Thomas Walkley, is now generally assigned to Phineas Fletcher.
