It is a first edition. Issued on its own. The same work was reissued later that year, 1633, with a fresh title page along with Campion’s and Hanmer’s histories of Ireland.
In original red wrappers and rebound over them. Note from former well-known NLI librarian T. W. Lyster to hold on to wrappers.
Some water damage and slight foxing.
Probably most valuable item we have from the works of Spenser as is a first edition and signed by the editor.

"Certaine verses of Mr Edm. Spenser's", [4] leaves at end.
