The City on a Hill Archive

This page has categories with which the user can interact. To select a time period, click on a range of decades on the timeline. To narrow or broaden any of the other categories, select any variable listed under the title of that category. When a variable is selected, a filter is applied which shows the statistics within that variable. For instance, to see the statistics of uses that refer to New England as a City on a Hill, select "New England" under “Referents.” Add as many filters as desired to interact with the data. To remove a filter, select it from the list of filters at the top of the screen. To see a list of citations within the chosen filters, select “Citations” at the top of the screen. Hover the mouse over any variable to see the number of uses within the variable.
