Welcome to this collection of digital materials for ENG 2497, The Renaissance Epic in English.

It consists of two portals: Texts and Renaissance Resources.

The first is principally a collection of pdf files--of early editions of texts relevant to the course--and a few pertinent links.

The second is a collection of links to significant resources for students of the Renaissance.  It emphasizes the material forms of texts, in the era of the first printed books and in the digital age.

Many of these resources require no more than access to the web (and not even that in the case of  pdf files, though they do need an Acrobat Reader).  Some are under license to associates of the University of Toronto. In order to access them you will require a MyLibrary account.
