Abraham Parker complains of
Manuel Lisa , administrator of all and the
Goods, chattels, rights, interests, and credits of George
Druillard deceased for that whereas the said George ,
on the thirty first day of December, in the years, one thousand
eight hundred and nine, at the District of Saint Genevieve
in the Territory of Louisiana , To writ, at the District of
Saint Louis and within the jurisdiction of this Court, in con-
sideration that the plaintiff would then and there and
deliver unto herin the said , the the
property of him the said plaintiff of the value of One
Hundred dollars, the said then and there agreed to deliver
to the plaintiff a certain of the same value in three
weeks from that time, or pay the plaintiff the sum of the
Hundred dollars: and the plaintiff that he
then and there upon faith of said verbal agreement
unto the said George the said of the aforesaid
Yet the said George delivered the said
paid the plaintiff the said sum of One Hundred dollars
as he had agreed to do, when by the said George there
afterwards to me, on the thirtieth day of January in the said
one thousand eight hundred & ten, to pay
to the plaintiff the said sum of one Hundred Dollars
and being then and there
thereof assumed upon himself and to
the plaintiff promised to pay him the said sum
of money on request—

And also that the said George in his life
to of St Louis on the
first day of November, in the year, one thousand eight
hundred & nine, was to the plaintiff in one other
sum of one Hundred Dollars for 10 money by the
George had deceased before that time to and for
the use of the plaintiff in consideration whereof the said
George then and there assumed upon himself and to the plaintiff
promised to pay him the same sum of money on request.

Yet the said George in his life time,nor the said
moment since the decease of said George , although after thereto
requested, had refused of the said
the same sum of money to the plaintiff to pay, to his damages
Two Hundred Dollars.

Whereas Abraham Parker at our
court of common pleas before our judges hath
recovered against Manuel Lisa administrator of
George Druillard the sum of twenty dollars for
damages and also the sum of fifty eight dollars eleven cents
which to the said Parker were adjudged for his costs
in that suit expended as appears to us of record
These are therefoer to command you that of the goods &
Chattels which were of the said Druillard at the
time of his death in the hands of manuel Lisa un-
administered upon you cause to be made the aforesaid
damages and costs and if he has none them the costs
aforesaid to be levied upon the proper goods, Chattels
Lands and tenements of the said Manuel Lisa
and that you have the same before the Judges of our
said court on the first monday of November
next then there to under unto the said Parker the
damages & costs aforesaid and that you your certify
to our said Judges how you execute this writ
