to appear before the undersigned, one of the justices of
the peace within and for the said county, on the First- saturday of May next at
my office- in the township of Saint Louis in said county, between the hours
of ten O'clock in the forenoon, and three O'clock in the afternoon of the said day, to answer to Harriet
Parmely , Administrator of Sylvanus Parmely deceased in an action of Debt on
a note which is follows or nearly so to writ, No 55= $ 75.00 Saint Louis Jany 11th 1825- Three days after date I
promise to pay to Sylvanus Parmely or order, the sum of seventy five dollars 00 cents. Value received. Witness

of Sylvanus Parmely deceased in the sum of One Hundred Dollars to be
levied of our respective goods and chattels lands and tenements upon condition nevertheless
that whereas the said Isaac W. White hath appealed from the Judgment of Peter Ferguson
a Justice of the Peace in a certain action wherein the said Harriet Parmely adminis
trator

On this 7th day of May come the said plain-
tiff by her attorney and the said defendant in proper person and
neither of the parties requiring a Jury they submit the matter to the
Justice which being seen and heard and the Justice not being advised
what Judgment to render takes time to consider and on the ninth
day of May the justice being now suffeciently advised of and con-
cerning the premises doth find that there is due on the said note
the sum of Seventy Five dollars and that there is also due for
interest thereon the sum of seventeen dollars twenty cents
therefore it is considered that the said Harriett Parmely Admin-
istrator of Sylvanus Parmely deceased recover against the said
Isaac W White her said debt of seventy five dollars and also
the sum of Seventeen dollars & twenty cents for interest thereon
together with her costs and charges by her about her suit in
this behalf expended and that the have thereof execution and on the said 9th day
of May the said Issac W White makes affidavit as required by law and tenders his
appeal bond in the sum of One Hundred dollars with Thomas Eddy as his security
who is approved of as such and the appeal is granted
