in which Mary a woman of color who for her freedom
is plaintiff and Andre Laundreville who is with
Francois Menard is defendant, on the part of the plaintiff

Marie Louise being duly swornon her oath saith
that she is acquainted with Marie the above named plaintiff that
she knew her as the slave of the late Michel thatshe knew
her from her birth that she was born at Kaskaskia in the
State of Illinois - has known her ever since and still knows her
to be the the same at whose birth sheattended
