County of St Louis ss.The State of Missouri To the Sheriff of said County Greeting:
Whereas Jenny a free girl at our Circuit Court before our Judge
thereof by our writ, and by the Judgement of the said Court, recovered
against Robert Musick the sum of Eighty five dollars for the
damages by her sustained by reason of the tresspass in the
declaration mentioned and also her costs and charged by her
about her suit in that behalf expensed whereof the said Robert
Musick is convict as appears to us of record- and now on behalf
of the said Jenny we have been informed that although Judgement
be thereof rendered yet execution still remains to be made of
the aforesaid damages and costs- Wherefore the said Jenny
has besought us to provide her a remedy in this behalf to
revive the said Judgement, and we being willing that what is
right in this behalf should be done, command you that by
good and lawful men of your County you make known
unto the said Robert Musick that he be and appear before
the Judge of our Circuit Court at the next term Thereof to
be held at the City of St Louis within and for the county of
St Louis on the Fourth Monday in July next then and there
to show cause if any be have or knows of any thing to say
why the said Judgement should not be revived and the said
Jenny have thereof Execution for the damages and Costs aforesaid
if it should seem expedient for her to do so, and have
you then there this writ;
