to describe the wounds inflicted on this
Negro Man Billy . I state the following.

A stab or incision on the
lateral part of the left Thigh, transverse
of the length of 4 inches, and of the
of from a half, to one and a half inch
dividing a part or nearly the whole of one
of the principle muscles of the thigh
I found one other gash or incision on
the shoulder, near the junction of the forearm
and shoulder, of about 3 inches in length
& from half inch to one inch deep, dividing
part of a muscle, and leaving bare a vein &
artery - also aue on the Head of about
two inches & a half long to the bone, or
covering the bone,and in our place the membrane seperation
